I am Jasmyn, 15 years old, I am basically a shopoholic, fashionholic, and boyfriendholic!

My current obssesion is Chanel (karl lagerfeld)

If your life was a movie which one would it be?

Wow this is a toughie! I think it would be Sweeney Todd - I think Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter are both gorgeous, I love the styling in that movie, it is based in a beautiful place and time era, the story line is kinda like my dark side, and the music incorporation is cute as well!

What’s your favourite fashion magazine…

Ooh this is though! I love Nylon, Elle, Vogue (all countries), and Harpers Bazaar.

If you only had one shot left, what would you take a photo of?

Me and my boyfriend Avery, to keep our memory forever.

Where would you be found on a Sunday morning?

Either taking pictures for lookbook, shopping, or doing housework.

Oh, umm. well i'm just your typical sixteen year old girl, who loves shopping, fashion, and thing's I can't afford! haha, but seriously I also love writing, (especially teen fiction), and hanging out with my friends.

What does fashion mean to you?

Fashion means how other's percieve you, your personality but into fabric. How people can judge you without uttering a single word. Fashion isn't just clothes, it's how you live, how you act, everything about you.

What are your plans for the future?

I am planning to go to college, when I'm fresh out of high school. Which college is still undecided, and after that I hope to move to newyork, maybe do some modeling, and establish a job at a fashion magazine. Or at least that's my dream.

Who is your favorite designer?

My favorite designer would definitely have to be a tie in between Betsey Johnson and Karl Lagerfeld. Betseyn Johnson because she makes adorabally chic statement pieces, and Karl Lagerfield because he is just amazing. Designing two of my most favorite brand's (Chanel and Fendi) he is an inspiration, and makes classy pieces for every age group.

Are you a natural blond?

All natural, never died my hair a day in my life. However I am considering trying highlights, so it will be a lighter blonde.

Who do you usually go shopping with?

Usually with a couple close friends, I've tried going it big groups but it's too hard to concentrate on what your actually their to do; shop!

I am attending Pratt Institute in Brooklyn for photography. I love fashion photography and making my own clothes. Basically I love all mediums of art. My favorite thing to do is to go to the mission and buy huge ugly dresses and sew them up completely new. And I love indie/folk music and rooibos tea.


How do you think the clothes you wear define you?

I think that my clothing shows people that I am creative and that I have an interesting and intelligent point of view.

If your life was a movie which one would it be?

Oh god either Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind or Love and Other Disasters.


What beauty product could you simply not live without?

Does shampoo count as a beauty product? My hair is crazy and thick and I need my Aussie shampoo and conditioner.

If you only had one shot left, what would you take a photo of?

I would take a black and white head shot of myself with big eyelashes, Twiggy style.


If money was no object, what item of clothing, shoes or accessory would you treat yourself to?

I would buy myself a plaid Burberry coat.

I have loved shoes since I found out I had feet and I love bags since I discovered  the easiest thing was to carry stuff with me !
I like cupcakes, books, travels, parties, my friends, mojitos, spending time doing nothing on my laptop, etc.
My blog http://lefashionblogdepauline.over-blog.com was born in April 2009... So it’s quite new !!
And this my first « interview » in English I’m excited !!!  I spent one year studying in the UK so I hope you can read me and you won‘t make fun of my mistakes ! (hopefully you can’t hear my awful and persistent French accent !!)

Usually my favourite piece is the one I buy the day you ask me… But I haven’t bought anything today so I’m lost  !!
I love all my shoes more than anything… They are my little babies !

I just don’t ! I think it’s not that good when you start defining your own style… Too much thinking kills the inspiration… I love simple and casual outfits as well as fancy dresses with high heels ! It depends on what you want to say with your clothes on the moment you wear them… When I’m shopping, I just buy what I feel !

My boyfriend bought me a pair of reebok freestyle hi legacy and I love them !!

Top of my wish list ?? Hum…. A pair of Louboutin ? A pair of Jimmy Choo ? A Chanel quilted bag ?
My wish list is endless…. But I think these three share the podium !

My favourite store is eBay ! I love the adrenaline that I feel when it’s the end of the auction ! And I can find whatever I want, any time, any day !
I like to hang out at home with friends, cupcakes and mint tea (or mojitos and cosmopolitans, depending on the time of the day...)
