OMGee! Magazine... My First Internship

So this summer, aside from doing photo shoots, running Lipstick Royalty and flitting between home and France I found the time to complete my first internship, at OMGee! Magazine, an American online fashion publication. I meant to write a blog every day but I was so busy! But here are some of the things I got up to...

One day I woke up to an email from the Editor, Tita asking me to go out on the street and put together a look report on street style. So that afternoon I grabbed my camera and headed out to shoot some people (see above). I'd done some stuff like this before; I went out model scouting and vox popping on the very same streets while I was with Raw TV/ Channel 4/ Battlefront so I'd had enough practice, and it was nice to not be followed round by a film camera while I was doing it!

This next piece I wrote while I was in France, for OMGee! and just before the start of my internship. Its about traveling to places you don't want to go to and how to make the most of it. This piece has inspired a new column in OMGee! titled 'Social Beacon' which will be a regular in the magazine.

This one I wrote on the build up to London Fashion Week. I based the whole experience on a combination of the hoops they try to make you jump through to try to get into LFW, and my experiences there last year.

Also when I was doing the internship I was responsible for doing some online PR, typing updates to the OMGee! Twitter page and updating the fashion, bauty, red carpet and celebrity news pages of the OMGee! website.
